History[edit | edit source]
The Cabum Masara is a cape located in Sies, featuring a small population dedicated to tourism. Its most famous feature is a naval graveyard dating back to the Battle of Paeravi. The Battle of Paeravi was a major naval battle in the Second Border War which decisively went in Ulyssa's favor. The graveyard is celebrated and commemorated, particularly amid current deteriorating campaigns and failed military ventures.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Cabum Masara refers to a naval graveyard of ships sunken in the Battle of Paeravi, located a few hours’ journey from the coast. It is unique in its location close to the Masaran Islands, after which the cape is named. The close proximity allows the remains of ships to be seen during the low tide. Some even peak over the sea.
Importance[edit | edit source]
On Diem Tauroch, it is common to hold reenactments of the battle. Other times, the grounds are the sights of sailing or fishing competitions. The battle is commemorated by placing small ship figurines into the water and pushing them toward the site. Their sails are colorful, true to Siecian heritage.
