The merchant was wealthy and powerful, but he had no sigil of his own. After marrying such a prominent noble figure in Ashford, Lucas Tolett decided that he would adopt a sigil of his own and form a noble house in Ashford. The man was supported by the lord of Ashford at the time, Tobias Dunwell, and as such the House was formed.
Since then, House Tolett has remained prominent and wealthy in Ashford, having close ties with House Dunwell even to this day.
History[edit | edit source]
Around 632 of the Third Era, Laura Dunwell was betrothed and married to a wealthy, prominent Antonellan merchant, Lucas Tolett. Because of this man's wealth and influence, he decided that, since he was now married to a member of Ashford's ruling family, he would form a noble house of his own. The man was well liked and supported by the current Earl of Ashford, and thus House Tolett was formed.
House Tolett has remained prominent and wealthy in Ashford. House Dunwell still offers large amounts of support to House Tolett, and the two families keep close ties.
Significance[edit | edit source]
House Tolett's main significance lies in its trade and family ties with House Dunwell. House Tolett is very wealthy, with its merchants and traders being far spread, even across Aevonhold.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
House Tolett is neutral to all Houses outside of Ashford, save House Bywater. House Tolett is as hostile with House Bywater as House Dunwell is. Within Ashford, House Tolett is respected by the other Houses within the city, including House Challinder and House Dervin.
