Origin[edit | edit source]

The statue is reported to originate from an unknown region within Zahvwan. It was first sighted in the docks of Hearth among the wares of visiting Ashkopa merchants in the year 1189.

Physical Description[edit | edit source]

The statue is hand-sized and depicts a crouched ape. The statue is constructed of dark jungle wood and exhibits the Congawi tribe's style of art. Its eyes are made of jade.

Effects[edit | edit source]

One who physically touches the statue will grow hair over their body over the period of one season until the hair is as thick as an ape's. The color of the hair will reflect their natural hair color. When another touches the monkey statue, the previous victim will shed its body hair almost immediately and the curse will begin anew.
