Lightpetal
Appearance[edit | edit source]
A bright yellow flower. The flower has two to four unusually thick petals, two inches in length and one inch in width. It grows in small bunches, containing up to six of the flowers.
Notes[edit | edit source]
Very uncommon. The Lightpetal flower is only found in a dozen places throughout Alenthyl . While it is difficult, Lightpetal can, and has been cultivated in similar climates within Aevonhold, though it is largely unfruitful.
Culinary[edit | edit source]
The flower's thick petals only steam and shrivel when cooked, and have an astoundingly bitter flavor. Eaten alone, the petals have little flavor and offer no nourishment.
Arcane[edit | edit source]
The petals of the flower seem to have an effect on spell casting, reducing the effects of lesser magic within a foot of proximity to the caster.
The petals of the flower can be shaved and introduced to a wide array of alchemical concoctions, displaying a variety of effects related to inhibiting arcane energy.
