History[edit | edit source]

Many petty kingdoms arose around the Cerullis River, using the bounties of the crops to sustain their population. Since then, the river has been fundamental for feeding many of Auros.

Description[edit | edit source]

The Cerullis River is the longest river in Auros, flowing from the mountains of Elterlein and through the terrain of Nobugo and Ulyssa.

Importance[edit | edit source]

The Cerullis River is associated with fertility and death, and a large number of contemporary settlements utilize the river for agriculture and trade.

Ironically, Ulyssian folklore associates the river with death. A being is said to travel down the river on nights on an ancient rowboat, beating a large drum but producing no sound which the living can hear. Collected souls need not pay a toll, but must help row the boat.
