Appearance[edit | edit source]

The center of the flower resembles an eye, thus the name. Their petals come in the colors of light blue or white - but very rarely it can be found in gold. Petals are in two tones, lighter in the center around the “eye.” Plant has four petals with slight hairs covering the entirety of the flower that keep it insulated from the cold.

Notes[edit | edit source]

Grows in caverns where Mountain Summit Dragons settle, typically found in at the mouth of the caves.

People treat it with great care, before its plucked or used in any brew it’s often told a prayer and asked to be allowed to take it from the cave and is believed to be a rare find. It is usually taken out of the earth with its roots in order to be replanted into a pot. The potted plant is then taken to the rooms of those that are either deathly injured or ill.

Thrives in the wild off bits and pieces of the meals of the dragons of their cavern, growing near corpses of cattle or sheep picked clean of any meat. Some believe the dragons purposefully take care of them to mark their territory.

The flowers have been seen with a substance believed to be blood either on them or near them when out in the wild. Sometimes it is fed blood into the soil its potted, in hopes to keep it alive and thriving and provide the room with “the holy mother’s care.”
