History[edit | edit source]

The mountains were famous for their minerals, but the trade has collapsed due to the depletion of its resources. Following the coup against Tyberian line after public suspicions of affiliation with arcane groups, the mountain was associated with malignancy and magic. Few pass through, and those who do pass at their own peril.

Description[edit | edit source]

A small mountain range which borders Gallonese territories with Taurum and Bermandy. The mountain range was historically sparse in vegetation, with these existing in valleys and small patches against the mountains. However, the mountains have been green with life in recent centuries, featuring abandoned mineshafts and deserted towns being retaken by nature. Crumbling aqueducts are a regular feature.

Importance[edit | edit source]

The mountain used to play a prominent role in the trade of coal and iron, particularly in towns such as Perusius. However, with these resources nearly depleted, few travel among these mountains unless to save time in an overland trade route. They have a negative stigma, with rumors abounding of disappearances and arcane warlocks.
