History[edit | edit source]

Historically, the island was the sight of a grand temple to the Eight’s Council, where many would go to receive enlightenment- a small jewel of Sies . Due to poor maintenance, one of the walls has collapsed, and its paintings and statues have been relocated or sold.

In the third era, following shortly after Peramul's secession from Ulyssa, the military occupied Samurgadh and reinforced the temple with stone fortifications. Its location gives Ulyssa a tactical advantage in observing naval movements or intercepting ships. Surrounding the main fortification are many tents resting against the many precipices.

Description[edit | edit source]

Samurgadh is a rocky islet close to the coastal border between Sies and Peramul. The islet is said to have a castle’s shape, which two natural towers of rock and patches of greenery throughout the islet. The island is connected to the mainland by a series a peaks jutting from the water; a more modern addition features a stone bridge which goes between the peaks and uses them to buttress the bridge.

Importance[edit | edit source]

Samurgadh serves as a military outpost to observe the naval movements of Peramul and intercept them.
